On Wednesday, two individuals, Nguyen Viet Manh and Nguyen Tan Bien, were apprehended. Nguyen Viet Manh is employed at the Land Fund Development Center situated in Long Thanh District of the southern province. Meanwhile, Nguyen Tan Bien serves as a land administration official in Binh Son Ward, which is located within Long Thanh.
The police have taken a local woman into custody for her involvement in the case. However, the authorities have not revealed her identity yet. According to the police, she worked as a broker, connecting individuals interested in relocating to the Loc An-Binh Son area with the two officials.
She was responsible for collecting the bribes on behalf of both individuals.
The exact amount of money they have acquired and the means by which they supplied ownership documents to bribe recipients remain uncertain.
The investigation is being expanded, as confirmed by the police.
