The President of France has acknowledged the importance of enhancing political trust and fostering people-to-people exchange between our two nations. Additionally, there is a mutual agreement to bring about significant advancements in cooperation across various domains including national defense and security, economy, trade, investment, aviation, energy transition, science and technology, as well as culture.
He stated his approval of Vietnam's enhanced cooperation with the EU, which involves enforcing the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), endorsing the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and collaborating in the fishing industry. He hoped for closer collaboration between both nations within multilateral frameworks, particularly within the Francophone community.
